Week 4 Wrap up
March 27 – Joshua 1
Daniel was humble and obedient, and God saved him from the lions. Daniel’s courage to stand faithful and strong took Holy Courage. When we are held to the edge of the lion’s den, I hope we will all stand courageously and never count the cost.

My verse: Joshua 1:8 “Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.”
My response: Joshua has been charged with the leading of thousands upon thousands of men into battles to take over a huge amount of land. He’s also ultimately responsible for the men’s families: women, children, and property. The job is HUGE. Yet God tells him that he is to study God’s instructions … daily!! He will prosper – not because he stays in fighting shape – but because he stays close to the LORD his God, reminding himself of God’s words at all times. Day and night. Father, help me to never let busyness – even urgent busyness – keep me from spending time each day listening to You! You are my strength and shield. You are the One who enables me to do my tasks. I want to start and end each day … with You.
