This simple method of studying God’s Word will help you interact with the text more specifically. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NLT) tells us that “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.” We believe that this is true. If you come to the Lord and:
- REQUEST His help with the study of His Word, He will give it
- READ a short passage of Scripture, you will be blessed
- RECORD one verse from that short passage, you will remember it much better
- RESPOND to that verse in a prayer to the Lord, your interaction with Him will be rich and sweet
