Week 1 Wrap up
March 7 – Isaiah 41
As we read the story of Esther, we see a woman rise out of her comfort zone and stand in courage to speak truth. She wasn’t known to be loud or outspoken, but she used her voice when God called her and saved her people. Her words were calculated, clear and concise. I admire that in Esther. She said what God prompted her to say. I pray my words will always be calculated, clear, and concise. God’s message always is, and I want my words to match His.

Sharon’s ponder: SO many great verses in Isaiah 41 reminding us to not be afraid, God is with us holding our little hands in His big and mighty hand. I love the reassurance this brings when I’m asked to do scary things. He’s walking with me … and also within me. Hallelujah! We don’t do life alone once we are His.
My verse: Isaiah 41:4 “Who has done such mighty deeds, summoning each new generation from the beginning of time? It is I, the LORD, the First and the Last. I alone am he.”
My response: Oh Father! You come to each and every generation! You’re moving in my own dear grandchildren’s hearts and though I won’t live to see it, I believe You will summon my grandchildren’s great-grandchildren as You have every generation since the beginning of time. I shall not fear for them. You are the First and the Last and You’ll be with them and all generations to the end of this age, ushering those who come to You into the forever after we’ll all enjoy! (And I’ll get to celebrate with all those great great great great grands then. )
