Week 2 Wrap Up
March 14 – Philippians 4
In the story of David and Goliath, we see a shepherd boy rise to a God size calling and defeat a giant with a simple slingshot and stone. I love the courage David has to not look at the circumstance in front of him but to God who had delivered him before from the lion and bear. David was so courageous that he didn’t waste one minute with distractions. I pray we all hold this kind of courage when circumstances arise in our lives and threaten to cause us fear and doubt.

I love Philippians 4 so much I could literally choose every verse. But today God stopped me right at the beginning.
My verse: Philippians 4:1 “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stay true to the Lord. I love you and long to see you, dear friends, for you are my joy and the crown I receive for my work.”
Help me, Lord, to always “stay true” and to never walk away from Your love and protective commands. To be true to You to my dying breath as Paul was – trusting You when times are good and comfortable and when times are painful and I feel great loss. Give me the courage to choose You in all circumstances as Paul did.
