Day Two – Colossians 1:15-20

Christmas

Good morning, friend. Hope you have already sat with your mug of tea or coffee or perhaps a glass of water and written out what God has shown you through the Word, today. If you’d like, write out your verse and comments below. I would love to read what God has shown you. Here’s mine from my journal today:

Colossians 1:16 ” for through him God created everything
in the heavenly realms and on earth.
He made the things we can see
and the things we can’t see—
such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world.
Everything was created through him and for him.”

Lord Jesus, You created. You created not only what I can see, but what I can’t – from atomic particles to planetary systems and galaxies to principalities, angels and spiritual beings about whom I know nothing. Lord You are so much BIGGER. And even BIGGER than that. I cannot comprehend. I bow in worship and awe and wonder …

  • I chose v 17 and noticed how “all” is mentioned twice. He definitely is my “all in all”.

    • I love that. Every. Single. Thing. is under His control, made by Him, sustained by Him. All. And He’s my “all in all” too! Thanks for the insight.
