Day 28 – Romans 8:26-38

How can we be on our last day? Here in New Hampshire, we started May still cold and still pretty much leaf-less. We end May with blossoms and (finally) permission to plant our flowers after Memorial Day. Haha! It’s been a month of greening and new life here in our state. And I hope, dear one, it’s been a month of greening and blooming in your heart as  you soaked in the Steadfast Love of God shining forth from His living Word into your mind and soul. Do you feel loved? I surely hope so, because you are.

What are your plans for study in June? I’d love to know. Did this 4 R method serve you well? Are you going to continue it, studying a specific book of the Bible? Do you have another study you are starting? We’d love to know. This daily habit of meeting with God will strengthen you in visible and invisible ways. It’s a concrete way to tell God you love Him. Giving Him your time and your attention. As one of my friends likes to say … it’s not that we have to spend time each day with God … no. It’s the awe in realizing we get to! He wants us. Hallelujah!

A few housekeeping items for you, now. First of all, I have written two books and a third one is at the editing stage. You can find them on Amazon, on Christian Books website and at our own shop site at sweetselah.org. Sweet Selah Moments: Encouragement for Everyday Living is a collection of 100 essays on scripture along with a “Going Deeper” section where you dig into God’s Word for yourself. Give Me Wings to Soar: A Sweet Selah Journey Toward a Deeper Walk with God, will guide you step by step from the “Nest” (where you learn who you are in Christ and how to mature as a believer) to “Flight” (where we study the books of Daniel and Colossians together just like we studied Ruth this time around) to “Soar” where I equip you with soaring through Bible Study on your own. Check them out!

If you’ve read my books and never written a review for them, would you consider writing a review on Amazon or Goodreads? Books are more likely to be bought if there are reviews. That would be wonderful.

Also, would you consider donating to our ministry? We offer the Bible Studies for free, but we still pay for our website and for our App and for our tech assistant and … well, you get the picture. As a matter of fact, we actually do also pay for every picture we use. Haha! If everyone in this study just gave $5 or $10 … it would help so very much. If you can’t? Don’t worry. We love serving you. But if you can, would you? You can donate securely right here: https://sweetselah.org/donations/

Please let us know what you thought of the study and suggest any improvements you’d like to see on the next one. We’d appreciate that. And now … here’s my verse and response from our last day together.

My verse: Romans 8:38 “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow – not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.”

My response: Lord, yesterday I told You I wanted a mind controlled by Your Spirit. Today in one of my most favorite verses, You remind me that even if I fail and I am fearful about today and worried about tomorrow … Your love will still be steady for me. I can’t lose what You promised. I’m Yours. I’m loved. I am humbled and grateful for You, my loving Steadfast Lord and my God.

    My verse is also 38.
God, Your unfathomable love is so amazing to me. What a joy and a comfort
to know that there is nothing that can ever separate us from Your love!
    Thank You for this assurance.
