This little tiny portion of scripture encompasses Jesus’ first and second comings, according to scholars. Wow. Micah saw both as a prophet and wrote it down, described, to us. Oh, what a JOY it is to have a Savior! Here are my thoughts below. As always, feel free to share yours in the comments.
My verse: Micah 5:1-5a “And He will be the source of peace.”
My prayer/response: Oh Lord Jesus, help me to learn this lesson well. My peace does not come from a perfect house or a well-behaved family or financial security. None of these things are actually even possible. My peace has its source in YOU. Because no matter what I face, You are with me, holding my little hand in Your strong one, and you will lead me through toward Heaven and home with You.
