Conclusion

This last four weeks was a small glimpse of the stories we can read in the Bible.  My prayer is that reading these stories, diving deeper, and viewing them with a lens of courage caused you to see them in a new way.

The Courage to Speak Truth

The Courage to Look Past Your Circumstances

The Courage of Friendship

The Courage to Stand For Your Faith

As you pursue the amazing calling God has on your life, I hope you will be strengthened, encouraged, and empowered to keep going.  When things get difficult, I hope these stories pop up in your heart and mind.  God’s word says, Let us not get weary of doing good (Galatians 6:9), let us mount up with wings like eagles  (Isaiah 40:31), I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:130, be strong and courageous (Joshua 1:9).  This is just a FEW verses we can recall when we need courage!  Did you know there are about 40 verses that refer to or imply courage? I love it!  God has given verses and truths we can lean on and recall in a moment’s notice to know He’s with us.

And because I can’t help myself, here’s one more of my favorites- Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord. Psalm 31:24.

Blessings as you love and serve with great purpose (and Holy courage),

Hugs,

Bonnie
