Day Twenty-Eight – Revelation 7:9-17

Christmas

It’s fitting, isn’t it, that we should have started our study in Genesis and now are ending it in Revelation. The entire Bible is about Jesus and God’s rescue of us!! All for His glory. Enjoy this beautiful passage, dear ones. I look forward to “last comments” as you share what God showed you, today. Write them below or email me your thoughts at sharon@sweetselah.org.

My verse: “For the Lamb on the throne will be their Shepherd. He will lead them to springs of life-giving water. And God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

My response: Father God, I’m struck by this verse. The Lord Jesus, enthroned and lifted high and reverenced duly … also interacts with His people personally!! He leads them to springs of water and, touching their dear faces, wipes the very tears from their eyes.

I praise You, Mighty One, worthy of all honor and glory! I worship You, dear Shepherd, still tending Your sheep. You are the caring One who wipes away my tears. There is no one like You, Lord Jesus! Thank You for all You have done and will do in the age to come. Amen.

PS to all: Watch for one more entry … just to finish our time together!!
